LandlerUSA | DRENT & herent

What happens when traditional Styrian folk music meets American rhythm and blues from the 50s and 60s? Sigi Lemarra, a dulcimer virtuoso and musical globetrotter, asked himself this question. The Wörschach musician and composer was immediately fascinated by the ideas and sound images that arose from this consideration. Since he and Roland Mayer had already proven at IRISHsteirisch that one can effortlessly overcome musical boundaries with creativity, ... the LandlerUSA project was born.

In addition to traditional alpine folk songs, some of which have been translated into English and rearranged, also rearranged American evergreens from various genres make up the repertoire of LandlerUSA.
