Wandering around in different violin worlds - classic and modern, traditional and new, strange and familiar - soon determined Toni Burger's musical life, thinking and feeling. This strolling, lingering and moving on again to discover new things has become a program for him - after more than forty years of musical activity on all kinds of stages.
JS Bach, the alpine and Gaelic music tradition as well as his own pieces form fixed points in the terrain of his hike, where side paths, detours and detours are by no means avoided, but rather searched for and enjoyed with pleasure.
